#51 August 24, 1975 The Last No-Hitter




The Giants and Mets were essentially .500 teams playing a meaningless late August doubleheader (San Francisco entered the day 21.5 games out of first place).  The Giants lost game one - but in Game 2, Ed Halicki struck out 10, walking only two, and threw the last no-hitter a San Francisco pitcher was ever going to throw at Candlestick Park.

That's the first 50.  We'll wait until Sunday to start the second 50.
